Two men have died and a woman has been hospitalised after a shooting in the Tasmanian town of Devonport overnight.
Police arrived at the home on William Street around 1am to find a dead man and a seriously wounded man inside the house. The wounded woman was found outside the property.
The woman was rushed to hospital but the wounded man died soon after he was found.

Initial police investigations indicate the wounded man was the person responsible for the shootings.
Police have confirmed he knew the victims.
The gun has been recovered and there is no further concern for community safety.
Two children at the home were unharmed.
Locals have been asked to stay away from the area as police investigate.
The town of Devonport is on the north coast of the state.
