There shouldn’t be different parliamentary chambers ‘according to racial background’

The dialogue about a black parliament for Indigenous folks in Victoria is “disturbing” because there need to not be distinct chambers “according to people’s racial background,” claims Sky Information host Rita Panahi.

“To split up the community among racial lines is, to me, so harmful and so destructive,” she explained.

“We’ve acquired a democracy in this country we ought to treasure and price that, not undermine it by having distinct chambers according to people’s racial history.”
