Regional property listings ‘hovering around record lows’



REA Team Senior Economist Eleanor Creagh claims regional home listings are “hovering around document lows”, with the COVID pandemic prompting a “actual change” towards the regions.

“We’re seeing that regional listings are about a 3rd decreased than they were being this time last calendar year, and they’re in fact hovering all over history lows,” Ms Creagh informed Sky News Australia.

She reported the pandemic has meant people have been “looking for larger sized residences, hunting for much more house, having benefit of the ability to do the job from home”.

And … on the lookout for all people factors that may possibly make everyday living in lockdown a little little bit less difficult, probably a dwelling place of work, probably it’s a backyard garden.”
