Queenslanders yet to receive their COVID-19 vaccine are being offered $10 vouchers to spend at their local club if they roll up their sleeves.
The incentive is available in 29 clubs across Queensland from tomorrow, in an effort for the state to reach the 80 per cent vaccination rate.

Venues in Townsville, Cairns Rockhampton, Toowoomba, Brisbane and Mackay have signed onto the offer, which was announced by Health Minister Yvette D’Ath today.
“If people weren’t convinced by the fact getting vaccinated could keep you out of hospital and save your life, they might be enticed by a $10 voucher that can be used at local clubs,” Ms D’Ath said.

To receive the voucher, resident must first visit their local vaccination hub to get their first jab where they’ll receive the voucher.
“If you’re a family of four, all eligible to get that first jab, you could go to one of these vax hubs and clubs and get $40 off your meal,” Ms D’Ath said.
The news comes as Queensland edges closer to the 80 per cent vaccinated mark, and opening the borders to the rest of Australia on December 17.
“We’re getting very close to 80 per cent for those first doses,” Ms D’Ath said.
