NASA attaches Orion capsule to megarocket ahead of moon mission



Assembly is underway for NASA’s spaceship and rocket which will go to the moon subsequent 12 months, in accordance to ANU cosmologist and astrophysicist Dr Brad Tucker.

“This is likely to be the initial of Artemis, NASA’s return to the moon, so this would be the first launch that goes to the moon,” he told Sky Information Australia.

“Now it will not get persons and it will not land on the moon, it will just go all around it, form of as a 1st test.”

Dr Tucker said NASA would use the Orion capsule, with humans and satellites to be positioned in a spacecraft which will be attached to the rocket NASA will use.
