Man dies after car and ute crash near the M2 in Sydney
A man has died after a serious accident between a truck and a ute in Sydney’s Hills district.
The truck and vehicle collided on Pennant Hills Road approaching the M2 in Beecroft, northwest of the city, this afternoon.
The passenger in the ute died at the scene. He is yet to be formally identified, NSW Police said.

The male drivers of both vehicles will be taken to hospital for mandatory testing.
The circumstances surrounding the crash will be investigated.
Two of three northbound lanes are closed and people are being told to avoid the area. Buses are also delayed.
