Seven’s Home And Away was the #1 entertainment program on Wednesday night, however, it was Nine that celebrated an overall network share win.
Home And Away brought in a metro audience of 553,000 metro viewers, while an episode of Nine’s Parental Guidance saw 517,000 metro views tune in. The Parental Guidance premiere aired to 629,000 metro viewers.
Ten’s Gogglebox was next in entertainment with 503,000 metro viewers, while also winning key advertising demo, 16-39, and 18-49, followed by Seven’s The Chase Australia which pulled in 476,000 metro viewers.
Nine’s Hot Seat had an average metro audience of 422,000, and Seven’s Big Big VIP had 310,000 metro viewers.
The #1 program on Wednesday was Seven News, which had an average of 918,000 metro viewers, ahead of Seven News at 6:30 with 911,000 metro viewers, while Nine News pulled in 868,000. Nine News also won key advertising demo, 25-54.
As previously mentioned, Nine won the night, taking an overall network share of 28% over Seven’s 26.4% share, while Ten had 19.4% and the ABC took an 17.8% share.
Nine also won primary channel share while the top-rating multi-channel for Wednesday was 7TWO with a share of 4.1%.
In the latest Daily Consolidated Total TV Report for 3 November, Seven News was the #1 program nationally across linear with 1.678 million viewers including 39,000 on national BVOD and an uplift of 3%.
The program with the biggest uplift however was Wednesday’s episode of Nine’s Love Island which had an 123% uplift on overnight figures and had a total of 556,000 viewers overall and a national BVOD audience of 237,000.
