Coalition would ‘concede Labor was right’ by signing up to net zero by 2050



If the Coalition indications up to internet zero by 2050, they have essentially “conceded that Labor and the Greens were ideal all alongside on climate and electricity,” according to columnist Tom Switzer.

“In 2019, Scott Morrison won the election that 12 months principally by opposing Labor’s high priced weather mitigation coverage,” Mr Switzer explained to Sky Information host Chris Kenny.

“Now it seems that Morrison and the Liberals recognise the Greens and Labor ended up proper.”

It comes as the Coalition is talking about local weather policy as Australia faces elevated pressure to sign up to a web zero emissions by 2050 goal forward of the COP26 Climate Modify Convention in Glasgow.
